Marissa Kim, MANAGING Partner

Marissa Kim advises innovators in the blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem on go-to-market strategy, token structure and token economics and is an active investor in the space. She is a thought-leader and world-wide speaker on topics ranging from token sales and cryptocurrency to investing in blockchain. 

Previously, Marissa was a corporate lawyer where she represented major financial institutions and Fortune 500 companies in all aspects of public and private company transactional practice, focusing on corporate finance, public and private offerings of stock, M&A and the formation of hedge and private equity funds at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP in New York City.

Named one of the Wired 100, serial entrepreneur and CEO, Titus, is an experienced blockchain entrepreneur and investor. His recent blockchain advisory clients include: LOCI, Blockchain Terminal, MetaCert, OMEGA ONE, PILLAR, HIVE - PROJECT, PO.ETADEX and SCIENCE. In addition to co-founding ARK, a company dedicated to advising companies on fundraising and go-to-market, Richard has previously (co-) founded +12 firms, including agency giants Razorfish (LA) and Schematic (Possible). His last start-up,, founded in 2013 was sold in 2016 to Breezeworks - completing his fifth exit in a row. Until February 2017, Richard served as Senior Vice President at Samsung Electronics in Kore, leading consumer experience for the global consumer electronics business.

Richard previously held senior leadership roles at the British Broadcasting Corporation (Future Media Controller) where he launched iPlayer and the BBC mobile service. He subsequently served as CEO of Associated Northcliffe Digital - the digital holding company of DMGT (the Daily Mail). 

Titus has a passion for technology & innovation. He lives in California with his two children.

At fifteen, Catherine discovered the executive assistance career path. Today, she holds over nineteen years of experience and has assisted celebrities, politicians and CEOs across a multitude of industries. She knows the MVP of every team is always one physical step behind the VIP and five mental steps ahead of everyone, and it is this intimate industry experience that holds ARK together.

Prior to joining ARK, Catherine founded EM - a matchmaking service for c-suite executives and assistants and graduated from the George Washington University with a degree in conflict mediation and national security. She is a certified personality analyst focused on leadership and organizational behavior, a female founder-focused start-up advisor and a yoga instructor.


Matthew is an entrepreneur, marketer, investor, father of two and avid surfer. 

Prior to joining ARK, Matthew founded Blockchain Disruption Fund to invest in companies, blockchain projects and ICOs. Matthew is also an LP in Blockchain Capital and has invested in many projects, including: WAX Token, BlockVEE, FileCoin, Sensay, MetaCert, Codex Protocol, Abra, BitAccess, BitGo, Bitnet, BitPagos, BitPesa, BlockStream, Case, Coinbase, expresscoin, EOS, Factum, Filament, Gem, Gems, GoCoin, Koinify, Kraken, LedgerX, PeerNova, Tether and others.

He founded Creatalytics Digital Marketing - a boutique marketing agency focused on identifying powerful thought-leaders, platforms, technologies and projects, and amplifying messaging to accelerate business growth. 


Bianca is a highly skilled and motivated full-stack marketing professional with over eight years of experience in e-commerce, start-ups and software applications. Her passions include bringing a dynamic and versatile outlook on content strategy by developing brand awareness, cultivating leads for growth and designing content strategy to drive community participation and leadership.

ARI RATNER, joint communications partner

Ari Ratner is Founder & CEO of Crypto Revolution, a boutique storytelling firm. He has assisted Fortune 500 companies, leading NGOs, and political campaigns across the U.S. and globally in aligning their brand with their mission.  He specializes in developing creative, political, and social impact campaigns that connect with organizations’ core values and history to reach a new generation of activists, consumers, and voters.

Ari previously served in the Obama Administration as Speechwriter and Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment. He earlier served the Obama Administration as a Congressional Liaison for the State Department and as an Associate at the White House. He is a veteran of the Obama for America and Hillary Clinton 2008 presidential campaigns, and was appointed to the 2009 Presidential Inaugural Committee.

Ari collaborated with Alec Ross on The New York Times bestselling book on cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, The Industries of the Future, in 2013. He served as Special Political Correspondent for Vice News during the 2014 midterm elections and as a correspondent for Yomiuri Shimbun, Japan’s largest newspaper, from 2003 to 2006. His commentary has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, The Atlantic, Foreign Policy, Reuters, Huffington Post, Slate, and CNN. Ari is a graduate of Stanford University and Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.

KAJ LARSEN, joint communications partner

Kaj Larsen is a Senior Partner at Crypto Revolution, a boutique storytelling firm. He is also the CEO and founder of HALO productions, a vanguard filmmaking company that specializes in multimedia storytelling in the fields of national security, government affairs, and international relations.

With a focus on conflict zones and national security, Kaj has worked in and reported from war zones all over the world. His work has taken him to dozens of conflict spots including Liberia, Burma, Afghanistan, and Colombia. Larsen was the only journalist on the frontlines in northern Nigeria while embedded with the military fighting Boko Haram, and he produced a groundbreaking exclusive interview with the architect of the CIA's enhanced interrogation program-part of a five-part VICE News interview series on the CIA's role in the war on terror. Prior to joining VICE, Larsen was a correspondent at CNN as a member of its Special Investigations and Documentary unit, and a journalist for the Vanguard unit at Current TV.

Prior to working in television journalism, Kaj spent five years on active duty as a U.S. Navy SEAL, and he continues his service as a SEAL reserve officer assigned to U.S. Special Operations Command. Kaj also serves on the Boards of Advisors to the Veteran service organization Team Rubicon Global. He has deployed three times in support of Team Rubicon to render Humanitarian assistance in Pakistan, the Philippines, and the US. Kaj has a Masters degree in public policy from Harvard University.

Hugh Naylor is a Senior Partner at Crypto Revolution, a boutique storytelling firm, and a public relations expert who uses his nearly two decades of experience reporting for leading national and international newspapers to reach audiences around the world.

Hugh previously spent over a decade covering the Middle East for the Washington Post and The New York Times, where he reported from more than 15 countries in the region — a journey that took him through Egypt’s revolution and counterrevolution, the civil war in Syria, and the assault launched by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

Hugh specialized in economic coverage of the Middle East and the Gulf, including real estate in the United Arab Emirates, and petrochemicals in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the rest of the GCC. Hugh has also reported from major markets around the globe, including in Europe, North America, and Asia as a freelance journalist, and has intricate knowledge of those markets, in addition to the Mideast and Latin America.

Hugh holds a Masters in International Relations and International Economics from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, and he speaks and reads Arabic with near-native proficiency. Hugh has lived in Dubai, Beirut, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles, CA.

Globally recognized social entrepreneur featured by BBC, NBC, FOX, Vice, more. Webby Awards honoree, 2016. Speaker and Resident at TED conferences. Matthew has been actively working in the blockchain space since 2014 as a founder of Red Button, and is a core contributor to VulcanizeDB.

Rich is a founder, advisor, and investor who excels in discovering and building strategic value. He leverages insights from energy innovation, enterprise technology, and aviation. His first company licensed global technology and patents to Visa, MasterCard, and Amex. In the impact space, Rich built a non-profit that serves 50,000 people in 25 countries. He has lived or worked in the Philippines, Croatia, Panama, Spain, Colombia, and Haiti.

Prior to his venture career, Rich was a global affairs journalist for The Miami Herald and created the ThinkMTV brand for Viacom. He taught history and coached soccer in Miami-Dade Public Schools. Rich wrote a thesis on global economic theory under Nobel laureate Amartya Sen, and graduated with honors in philosophy from Harvard University.
